I’ve been saving these pictures up for the last week or so. It’s all our favourite foods as cooked in the old house only in new improved flat form. Ikea would be proud.
First up is the potato gnocchi from
Vegan with a Vengeance
. It was perfect, and incredibly filling. I had mine with raw tomato sauce from
How to Cook Everything: Vegetarian
which is basically mushed tomato and garlic and oil. Its simplicity complimented the gnocchi which can feel like you’re just eating a bowl of stodge after a while. A lovely bowl of stodge but still.
Then we have chocolate cupcakes from
Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World
decorated with red
emergency icing and sugar strands.

Finally we have boyfriend-and-girlfriend-finally-have-a-day-off-together-waiting-for-a-delivery pancakes from
Vegan with a Vengeance
, naturally.
