Tonight we made vegetarian toad in the hole - a simple but satisfying dish.
Heat some oil in a baking dish for fifteen minutes. Take 75g plain flour, mix in an egg, 75ml of milk, and 50ml of water, then pour into the baking dish. Add some vegetarian sausages (we used the classic Linda McCartney range) and cook for about half an hour. Serve with gravy, or green things for Clare.
